A campaign that helps consumers understand their rights and responsibilities and how to exercise them.
This year, we are celebrating the 14th National Voters' Day and its theme is ‘Nothing Like Voting, I Vote For sure’. The theme focuses on the commitments of ECI to facilitate the active participation of voters during the elections. Also, to make the complete process hassle free and a memorable experience for all categories of voters.
President Draupadi Murmu will present the Best Electoral Practices Awards for the year 2023. It is dedicated to voters and conveys individuals’ feelings and aspirations toward participation in the electoral process through the power of their vote.
1. Vote makes us all equal. It is the single thing that does not discriminate between castes religions or classes.
2. Let’s all come forward to bring a positive change to the nation.
3. Each vote is precious. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.
4. Never Miss an Opportunity to vote as it is our contribution to our Country.

Department of Political Science in collaboration with Heritage Club celebrated a two day Expo Polito-crat on October,6 and 7th 2023. the first day our students presented the exhibition and flash mob. On second day our students presented the exhibition and performed 'Nukkad Natak' on voting awareness and mock parliament. In the valedictory function on 7 Oct at 4pm Dr. G.Veera Raju, Head of the Department of Political Science& Public Administration AU graced as Chief Guest And Dr. P.K.Jayalakshmi, Head of the Department of second Languages St. Joseph's College for Women (A) Visakhapatnam attended as Guest of Honour . both of them have given their valuable message to our students . students from other Colleges like Dr.V.S.Krishna Government college, Dr. L.Bullayya College, BVK College, Prism College and Aditya College also participated and won prizes in Debate, Essay writing, Elocution, Quiz and Poster making.

ACTIVITY I
Today i. e. on 25 January 2023 Department of Political science in collaboration with the Department of Library Sciences celebrate National Voters Day and organised an activity named "WIN MY VOTE" in which the participants have given a speech on "If I were a President of a Youth Committee... " in order to convince the gathering to vote for them. The students gathered cast their votes in the ballot box. The activity was coordinated by Learner's Destiny and Heritage Club. The activity took place on the stage between 12:20 and 1:00 pm. The activity turned out be a grand success with a total of 131 students casting their votes for the candidates.
Department of Political Science III BA EEP students conducted a survey in Bokkellu village, Paderu mandal, Alluri Sitaram Raju district. We interacted with the villagers and asked questions regarding the facilities provided to them for quality of life.
